Job summary

Yamazaki Mazak Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on Senior Facilities Technician (Electrical) to join our Facilities Management team. The role focuses on LV electrical maintenance, in-house installations, and testing across the facility, reporting to the Licensed Electrical Worker and engineering team.

Candidate must hold a valid EMA Electrician’s License (Grade 7) and have at least 3 years of industrial electrical experience, with strong troubleshooting and project support capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Power Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical or facilities maintenance within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience in electrical troubleshooting, cable termination, DB wiring, motor control circuits, and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, modification, and maintenance for plant facilities, machinery, and office areas.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical faults, switchboards, distribution boards, lighting, and backup power systems.
• Support machine relocation, equipment installation, and production improvement projects.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers.
• Maintain electrical drawings, maintenance records, spare parts inventory, and compliance documentation.
