Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a site engineer to coordinate on-site activities, apply electrical design expertise, and ensure quality per ISO plans. You will manage shop drawings, schedules, and daily operations under the Project Manager, aligning with safety and master schedule requirements.

The role involves collaboration with clients, consultants, and suppliers to maintain progress, minimize rework, and adopt efficient installation methods on site.

Qualifications

• Strong site problem-solving and coordination with clients and stakeholders.
• Solid engineering expertise in electrical design with relevant codes and standards.
• Ensure material quality and installation workmanship per ISO Quality Plan.
• Prepare shop drawings and coordinate with relevant disciplines.
• Develop work schedules and attend client, consultant, and internal coordination meetings.
• Assist the Project Manager in daily operations in line with master project schedule, quality and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong site problem-solving and coordination with clients and stakeholders.
• Apply engineering expertise in electrical design, ensuring compliance with building services codes and standards.
• Coordinate, monitor, and control suppliers’ materials, equipment, and subcontractors’ installation quality.
• Prepare shop drawings and manage drawing coordination with relevant disciplines.
• Develop work schedules and attend client, consultant, and internal coordination meetings.
• Assist the Project Manager in daily operations in line with the master project schedule, quality, and safety requirements.
• Maintain coordination with main contractor to minimize rework and site issues.
• Monitor site progress and communicate instructions to suppliers and subcontractors.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to prevent delivery delays affecting project progress.
• Inspect works and materials to identify and rectify non-conformance to prevent defects.
• Explore and implement new technologies and installation methods to enhance productivity.
