Job summary

Surbana Jurong Group in Singapore is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to support the design, coordination, and delivery of electrical works across multiple projects.

You will perform technical reviews, FEED preparation, feasibility studies, and ensure compliance with codes, working with internal teams and stakeholders. This role emphasizes attention to detail, proactive problem solving, and collaboration in a dynamic engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering from a PEBA-recognised institution (including SIT).
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with electrical design standards and codes.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Technical review, site testing and commissioning of 230/400kV transmission cable installation projects.
• Conceptual design and FEED preparation for combined cycle and renewable power plants.
• Feasibility studies for energy import, transmission and distribution networks, and industrial planning.
• Design, documentation, and coordination of electrical systems for projects.
• Prepare and review drawings, calculations, and technical documentation under supervision.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants and stakeholders to support project delivery.
• Participate in site inspections, technical meetings and project coordination activities.
