Job summary

Schneider Electric Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Regional Principal Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for mission-critical facilities, including data centres and command centres. You will lead technical solutions, document packages, and collaborate with global teams to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 10+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to travel internationally (25%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years in engineering or related discipline, with mission-critical exposure.
• Experience in consulting engagements and international travel (25%).

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for mission-critical facilities across data centers and similar sites.
• Develop technical documentation, drawings, calculations and BOMs.
• Lead bid development with BOQ/BOM and vendor qualification.
• Provide on-site engineering support during installation and commissioning.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff and partners; ensure project governance.
• Engage senior customers and stakeholders to ensure alignment and success.
