Job summary

Biobot Surgical is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, develop and validate advanced electronic systems for next‑generation medical robotics. You will collaborate with firmware, software, and clinical teams to move concepts from idea to safe, compliant products.

Role requires hands-on experience with analog/digital electronics, power supplies, and PCB design, plus familiarity with medical device standards and ISO 13485 quality systems. This is an on‑site role in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of product development experience.
• Sound knowledge of analog and digital electronics, power supplies, microcontroller-based systems.
• Familiar with IEC 60601-1/60601-1-2 and ISO 13485 quality system.

Responsibilities

• Design analog, digital, power and mixed-signal circuits.
• Develop electrical architecture for medical robotic systems.
• Review schematics and PCB layouts.
• Support prototype bring-up, debugging and verification.
• Integrate hardware with embedded firmware and software.
• Support electrical safety, EMC and regulatory testing.
• Plan and manage external lab testing for safety and EMC.
