Job summary

Biobot Surgical in Singapore is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and validate advanced electronics for medical robotic systems. You will develop analog, digital, power, and mixed-signal circuits and review schematics and PCB layouts, supporting prototype bring-up and regulatory testing.

You will collaborate with firmware, software, and mechanical teams to ensure robust hardware for concept-to-commercialization, with emphasis on safety and ISO/IEC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of product development experience.
• Hands-on with electrical test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies and logic analyzers.
• Knowledge of IEC 60601-1/60601-2 electrical safety and EMC for medical equipment.
• Familiar with ISO 13485 quality system and design controls (ISO 14971).

Responsibilities

• Design analog, digital, power and mixed-signal circuits and architectures.
• Develop hardware for medical robotic systems; review schematics/PCB layouts.
• Support prototype bring-up, debugging, and verification testing.
• Integrate hardware with embedded firmware and software; cross-functional collaboration.
• Prepare documentation, design records, and support manufacturing transfer.
• Drive risk management, design changes, and supplier engagement.
