Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Singapore is seeking an Electrical Engineer to conduct inspections, coordinate maintenance work, and manage a team. The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree and strong analytical skills. Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of electrical installations and report findings on site.
• Coordinate with clients and contractors for electrical maintenance work.
• Carry out on-site testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Prepare reports on findings and recommendations from inspection and maintenance activities.
• Lead and manage a team of technical officers/technicians.
• Attend to electrical incidents and power outages; work closely with clients and stakeholders to maintain the reliability of their electricity supply.
• Liaise with clients and provide advice on their electrical systems.
• Plan, manage, and execute electrical project works.
• Assist with electrical design and consultancy work.
• Perform all other ad-hoc duties as requested by the supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical) preferred.
• LEW license issued by EMA preferred.
• Class 3 driving license preferred.
• Ability to work well with others as part of a team.
• Punctuality and a positive attitude.
• Comfortable working in an on-site environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess situations and propose solutions.
• Willingness to work odd hours depending on schedule and requirements.
