Job summary

Hudson Singapore is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for semiconductor equipment in Singapore. The role reports to the Design Manager and focuses on designing electrical, embedded, and motion control systems for advanced equipment.

You will create and simulate digital and analog circuits, including FPGA-based designs, and build, test, debug, and support prototypes, PCBA, cables, and system integration. Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience in hardware design, FPGA, motion control systems, and drivers.
• Knowledge of circuit design, PCB design, and basic control systems (PID is a plus).
• Familiar with communication protocols such as VME, PCIe, RS485, Ethernet, LVDS, and SerDes.
• Experience in the semiconductor equipment industry, with strong problem-solving skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical, embedded, and motion control systems for advanced semiconductor equipment.
• Create and simulate digital and analog circuits, including FPGA-based designs.
• Build, test, debug, and support prototypes, PCBA, cables, and system integration.
• Work with cross-functional teams to solve technical issues and improve system performance.
• Analyze system data and prepare technical reports to support development and improvements.
