Job summary

A construction and engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead site supervision for electrical and building construction works. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in supervising electrical works, preferably in Oil & Gas or Power Plant projects. Strong skills in reading electrical drawings and troubleshooting are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience supervising electrical works in construction.
• Strong knowledge in electrical systems and relevant industry standards.
• Experience in Oil & Gas or Power Plant projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site supervision team for all Electrical and Building Construction works.
• Review and respond to Contractors’ RFIs and technical submittals.
• Attend site and project-related meetings with clients and/or Contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site supervision team for all Electrical and Building Construction works.
• Support the Construction Manager in handling electrical site inspection issues, contract-related matters, defect identification, and supervision of construction activities.
• Review and respond to Contractors’ RFIs and technical submittals. Assess method statements, instrumentation readings, and coordinate with other discipline engineers as well as the design team.
• Attend site and project-related meetings with clients and/or Contractors, leading technical and work progress discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably recognised by the PE Board, Singapore.
• Minimum 10 years of experience supervising electrical works in construction, ideally within Oil & Gas or Power Plant projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, schematics, and specifications.
• Solid technical knowledge in field instrumentation, electrical systems, control systems, and relevant industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to resolving issues.
