Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore seeks an experienced Digital Forensics Officer to perform examinations and analyses on a wide range of devices in support of investigations and prosecutions.

You will ensure proper evidence handling, maintain SOPs, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team. The role emphasizes collaboration with law enforcement agencies and continuous capability development.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional experience in digital forensics, incident response, or cybersecurity.
• Proficiency with industry-standard forensic tools such as Cellebrite, Magnet AXIOM, Autopsy/Sleuth Kit, Oxygen Forensic Detective, EnCase, FTK, MSAB XRY etc.
• Ability to acquire and analyze data from Computers (Windows/macOS/Linux), mobile devices (iOS/Android), cloud environments, network storage, memory dumps, and IoT devices.
• Strong understanding of forensic artefacts, file systems, data recover technology and investigative procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform digital forensics examination and analysis across a wide range of devices to support investigations and prosecutions.
• Maintain chain-of-custody records; identify, collect, label, document, store and manage digital evidence.
• Document findings; provide objective assessments and recommended opinions to stakeholders.
• Create court-ready forensic reports and provide expert testimony in court.
• Collaborate with investigators and legal officers to scope forensic requirements and identify investigative leads.
