Job summary

You will maintain lab tools, update SOPs, train colleagues, and collaborate with other agencies. A background in digital forensics or IT and 2–5 years experience is preferred, with proficiency in industry-standard tools.

Qualifications

• Background in Digital Forensics, IT, Cybersecurity, or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of professional digital forensics or cybersecurity experience.
• Proficiency with listed forensic tools.
• Ability to acquire and analyze data from computers, mobiles, cloud, and storage.
• Understanding of forensic artefacts and investigation procedures.
• Proficient in scripting to enhance workflows.
• Certifications in digital forensics are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform Digital Forensics examination and analysis on a wide range of devices for investigations.
• Conduct thorough seizures, preservation and examination of digital evidence.
• Maintain chain-of-custody records and proper evidence handling.
• Create court-ready forensic reports and provide expert testimony.
• Collaborate with officers and legal teams to identify investigative leads.
• Maintain and update forensic lab tools, licenses and SOPs.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and threats.
• Establish collaboration with other law enforcement agencies.
