About the Role
To provide evidence-based dietetic consultation/advice for all patients and/or caregivers, and nutrition education for staff and the community. Primary work is in outpatient clinic. Required to provide cross coverage for IHH Healthcare Singapore hospitals.
Key accountabilities
- Develop nutrition care plans and provide medical nutrition therapy to patient/caregiver to enhance patient’s dietary compliance and/or nutritional status.
- Work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary care team in communicating care plan, providing holistic care and/or supporting continuity of care
- Review and develop dietary education materials for patients
- Participate in doctor\'s and allied health professionals\' engagement activities to help promote outpatient Dietetics services
- Coordinate and conduct of in-service training on nutrition-related topics for staff, nutrition talks for the community/workplace, lectures for nursing personnel/allied health professionals/doctors.
- Provide clinical cross coverage at other IHH Healthcare Singapore hospitals and Parkway outpatient clinics.
- Participate in Quality Improvement (QI) projects and other relevant quality improvement initiatives
- Other assignments as and when required
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or other relevant area of study
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in clinical dietetics
- Up-to-date evidence-based knowledge of clinical dietetics and nutrition
- Paediatrics experience preferred.
- Full membership with a recognized professional body (e.g., Association of Dietitians)
