Job summary

Synapxe Pte. Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Cloud Security and DFIR expert to investigate cyber incidents across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments, using cloud-native and industry-standard forensic tools.

You will facilitate Incident Response calls with internal and external stakeholders, develop incident reports, and communicate findings clearly. The role includes conducting post-incident reviews to improve workflows and controls, requiring strong communication and independent work styles.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of Cloud Security and DFIR experience.
Degree or Diploma in CS, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Proficiency with EDR, NDR, and SIEM platforms.
Experience using Digital Forensic tools for evidence collection and analysis.
Strong knowledge of network protocols and incident response.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Certs such as CCSP, GCIH, GCFE, GCFA, GCFR, GEIR, MCFE, EnCE preferred.

Responsibilities

Investigate cyber incidents across Cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments using forensic tools.
Facilitate Incident Response calls and coordinate with stakeholders.
Generate investigation reports and communicate findings clearly.
Assist in post-incident reviews to extract lessons learned.
Develop and maintain Incident Response plans and playbooks.
Document best practices and compliance measures for consistency.
Serve as rotational duty officer and standby outside regular hours.
