Job summary

VENTURE Corporation, a Singapore-based technology leader, seeks a Senior Engineer, IT System (DevOps) to architect and govern the CI/CD and Kubernetes foundation for MES and related applications. You will drive high availability, security, and scalable deployments across multiple sites in a 24x7 manufacturing environment.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Jenkins/GitLab/CI pipelines, Terraform/Ansible, and containerized architectures on AWS EKS.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years DevOps/platform engineering experience.
• At least 3 years running production Kubernetes / AWS EKS at scale.
• Design/operate CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and AWS security/networking.
• Programming/scripting in Python/C#/C++/YAML.

Responsibilities

• Architect and govern CI/CD and Kubernetes foundations; drive availability and security across production systems.
• Containerize and optimize Group‑wide in‑house apps and MES systems.
• Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD) using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Enforce infrastructure-as-code standards (Terraform/Ansible) and GitOps practices.
• Automate provisioning, scaling, patching, and data movement between systems.
• Establish observability and lead incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with developers and QA to improve MES platform and production support.
• Ensure deployments meet cybersecurity, audit, and regulatory standards with proper documentation.
• Lead or oversee upgrades, migrations, and new VMES site rollouts; integrate new tech.
• Act as DevOps authority in vendor engagements and reviews.
