Job description
Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in CI/CD, version control, release management, and automation. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in managing build pipelines, release processes, and infrastructure support within the BFSI domain. This role requires technical depth in DevOps tools, scripting, monitoring, and strong collaboration skills to work across functional and technical teams.

Responsibilities
  • On‑board the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins.
  • Configure the Build, SIT, UAT & Artifactory.
  • Verifying the Deployable artifacts.
  • Write the scripts for automations using Shell commands.
  • Verify the Deployment objects in the target server.
  • Good knowledge on Agile methodology.
  • Raise the Change Requests for Network Firewall, LVM, SSH, Connect Direct, Backups [NetBackup/DB backups].
Mandatory Skills

Jenkins & CI/CD, Sonar, Artifactory, Version Control [Git/Bitbucket], Build Tools, Project Management tools (JIRA/Confluence, BMC Remedy/Service Now & Control‑M), UNIX/Shell script, JBoss/WebLogic Application Server and Monitoring tools (Nagios/GENEOS/SPLUNK)

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related disciplines or equivalent experience.
  • 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in BFSI domain.
  • Relevant experience in Banking / Finance / IT; good knowledge in financial services policies, procedures, products and industry practices.
  • Excellent communication and inter‑personal skills to manage functional and technical stakeholders across multiple business units.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Proven results‑oriented person with main focus on delivery.
  • Good understanding and experience in standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development methodology.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or similar domain.
  • Related professional/technical qualifications will be advantageous although not mandatory.
