Job summary

NETWORK FOR ELECTRONIC TRANSFERS (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD seeks a senior Detection Engineer to lead detection engineering, threat hunting, and intel-driven improvements. You will design high‑fidelity detections across SIEM, EDR, NDR, and cloud platforms, map to MITRE ATT&CK, and reduce dwell time and false positives.

You will mentor SOC analysts, drive automation, and collaborate with Red/Purple teams to validate capabilities and improve enterprise visibility.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of cybersecurity experience with senior technical responsibilities.
• Strong experience in detection engineering and threat hunting.
• Hands-on proficiency with SIEM/EDR and cloud security monitoring.
• Leadership skills for mentoring SOC analysts and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead detection engineering, threat hunting, and SOC engineering activities.
• Design, implement, and tune detection use cases aligned to MITRE ATT&CK.
• Develop automation, scripts, and CI/CD integrations for detections.
• Collaborate with IT, Cloud, and Risk teams to improve visibility.
