Job summary

Sunjet Aluminium International Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Designer based in Singapore to study architectural and structural drawings, co-ordinate concept, shop and detail drawings, and support tender preparation.

You will lead site coordination, train staff and sub-contractors, and ensure quality and safety compliance across projects. The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in civil/structural fields and strong AutoCAD/BIM skills.

Qualifications

Diploma (Singapore) or Degree in Civil or structural or relevant fields
Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural works such as façade design, cladding, curtain walling & glazing works
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD & BIM
Good design and sketching skills
Ability to communicate with all levels of staff

Responsibilities

To study given architectural and structural drawings for preparation of any tender and ensure compliance with specifications and codes.
To co-ordinate and produce concept drawings, shop and detail drawings for checking prior to submission.
To assist in taking out quantities of accessories related to the design.
To assist in coordinating project site works during presentation, mock-up, installation and completion stages.
To represent the company in meetings and maintain proper records of drawings submission.
To educate workers to achieve acceptable quality in material and workmanship.
To monitor site drawings submissions and ensure timely compliance with the schedule.
To lead training of staff and supervise sub-contractors to meet design criteria and quality standards.
