Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Singapore is seeking an experienced BIM Designer to establish and maintain frameworks for CAD and BIM model production. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or ITE qualification and at least 6 years of relevant experience in civil or structural engineering. Responsibilities include preparing CAD drawings, mentoring junior designers, coordinating with engineers, and ensuring effective model management. Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of relevant civil or structural experience.
• BIM certification or diploma is an advantage.
• Experience in BIM production within a contractor environment is preferred.

Job description

• Establish and maintain the framework for efficient drawing and BIM model production.
• Prepare and develop CAD drawings and BIM models in accordance with project requirements.
• Lead and mentor junior designers in producing drawings and BIM models.
• Coordinate with engineers and report regularly on project and design progress.
• Ensure proper CAD/BIM file and model management in alignment with workflow standards.
• Perform other related duties or tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma or ITE qualification from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant civil or structural experience in engineering design consultancy preferred.
• Candidates with BIM certification or diploma will have an added advantage.
• Prior experience in BIM production within a contractor environment will be favorably considered.
