. Solution Qualification & Onboarding
- Review and qualify proposed solutions (including bid extensions) to ensure they are operationally feasible and seamlessly integrable into existing infrastructure landscapes.
- Validate design assumptions, scope alignment, and delivery readiness prior to transition or service introduction.
- Provide feedback to pre-sales and solution design teams to ensure operational continuity and compliance with delivery standards.
2. Design Governance & Standards
- Own and maintain technical design rules and policies (layout, routing, sizing, capacity, resilience).
- Continuously update standards to reflect technology evolution, lessons learned, and industry best practices.
- Ensure technical consistency and architectural integrity across all delivery streams.
3. Transformation & Migration Leadership
- Define technical migration paths during transformation programs, balancing risk, cost, and business continuity.
- Coordinate lab testing, proof-of-concept, and prototype phases to validate design decisions before full‐scale deployment.
- Identify and quantify cross‑functional technical risks, define mitigation strategies, and maintain the project risk register.
4. Third‑Party Integration & Optimization
- Validate technical requirements for third‑party services during sourcing and vendor selection.
- Define efficient integration and optimization strategies leveraging supplier portfolios and existing service baselines.
- Evaluate third‑party capabilities and propose service or cost improvement initiatives.
5. Technical Governance & Advisory
- Act as technical advisor to delivery leadership for cost optimization, service improvement, and technology refresh decisions.
- Assess technical effort, dependencies, and required skillsets for complex change or remediation activities.
- Lead and support internal or external audits as the technical subject matter expert (SME).
- Ensure all architecture and design decisions maintain compliance, security, and sustainability standards.
6. Technology Roadmap & Continuous Improvement
- Define and maintain the Technology Roadmap aligned to contractual obligations and evolving business needs.
- Proactively identify innovation and automation opportunities to optimize infrastructure operations.
- Ensure technical consistency and performance stability throughout the contract period.
7. Incident & Problem Management Oversight
- Lead or support infrastructure diagnosis and remediation across technical support groups.
- Challenge and assess the risk, feasibility, and completeness of incident remediation and problem management plans.
- Provide architecture‑level oversight to ensure permanent resolution and prevention of recurring issues.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Services, including at least 3–5 years in an architecture or technical delivery leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of core infrastructure domains: Data Center, Network, Cloud (Hybrid), End‑User Computing, and Security.
- Proven experience in infrastructure transformation, migrations, and service introduction.
- Extended demonstrated experience in domain towers such as Network, Collaboration/Customer Experience, Cloud, Security, Data Center.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, particularly around transition, change, incident, and problem management.
- Solid understanding of vendor ecosystems and multi‑supplier operating models.
- Demonstrated ability to bridge pre‑sales, design, and delivery execution functions.
- Strong risk management, communication, and cross‑functional coordination skills.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP Architect‑level).
- ITIL v4 or ISO 20000 certification.
- TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture certification (optional but preferred).
- Experience in managed services or outsourcing environments.
- Ability to influence technical direction across multiple stakeholders and geographies.
