Maltem Asia is seeking a Senior Database Performance Engineer for a Wealth Management Client based in Singapore.

Summary

• Supporting Database fixes and optimization.
• You will be involved in optimization of Database Table/Stored Procedures/ad-hoc queries to improve application performance and resolve time out issues.
• The work involves following up on suggestion by Microsoft SME team and fine tune database configurations and table/index/queries to improve application performance.

Key Requirements

• Possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in Database Performance Tuning, particularly in MSSQL.
• Expertise in Database Performance Tuning on table and index structure.
• Expertise in Performance Tuning on complex database queries and stored procedures, involving complex logic and joins of more than 5 tables.
• Expertise in Regression Testing changes made to Database objects and queries.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Good-To-Have

• Expertise in Amazon RDS is advantageous.
• Backend software engineering skill in C# is advantageous.
• Finance industry experience is advantageous.
