Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the Rail Digitalisation Division. You will develop the intelligence layer of the Railway Common Data Platform (CDP), tackling time-series data with anomaly detection and predictive analytics to support maintenance and operations.

The role focuses on end-to-end ML delivery, from data discovery to deployment and monitoring, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related quantitative field.
• At least 2 years of proven data science experience in data-heavy environments.
• Experience with transportation, IoT, or large-scale condition-monitoring systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build the intelligence layer of the CDP and develop ML solutions end-to-end.
• Perform data discovery, feature engineering, model deployment and monitoring.
• Translate use cases into data problems and deliver actionable insights for maintenance and operations.
• Collaborate with UI/UX, product, and engineering teams to deploy scalable dashboards and tools.
