Job summary

Grab in Singapore is seeking a Senior Data Scientist specializing in Computer Vision and Multimodal LLMs to join our Singapore One North office. You will focus on building advanced models for precise OCR, KYC verification, and document/image information extraction to strengthen onboarding and risk workflows.

You will work with a hands-on data science team to deploy production-ready solutions, iterate on performance, and collaborate with product and operations to translate research into tangible

Qualifications

Degree in CS, ECE, Mathematics or related technical discipline.
At least 3 years in tech/academia with similar role.
Proficiency in Python, Spark and SQL; familiarity with version control (Git) and SDLC.
Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Responsibilities

Build, train and fine-tune state-of-the-art OCR and Vision LLMs.
Architect and own end-to-end document processing pipelines (KYC/onboarding).
Deploy models to production with monitoring for latency and throughput.
Research and prototype multimodal AI advancements for product impact.
Explain model trade-offs and findings to product, policy and operations teams.
