Overview

Project phase: Maintenance phase.

Data Pipeline Support

• Monitor and troubleshoot AWS Glue jobs and data ingestion tasks
• Support CI/CD workflows with data checks and validations
• Assist with GitLab pipeline configurations for data-related jobs
• Provide support for AWS Lambda functions in data processing
• Collaborate on Infrastructure as Code for data systems

Dashboard & Visualization

• Design and maintain interactive dashboards using AWS QuickSight
• Develop visualizations to aid business decisions
• Ensure reporting accuracy and optimize dashboard performance

Data Analysis & Modeling

• Analyze large datasets and perform statistical modeling using AWS Redshift
• Build predictive models and implement machine learning algorithms
• Validate data quality and extract actionable insights

Documentation & Communication

• Maintain documentation of methods and project findings
• Report on data insights and model effectiveness regularly
• Present monthly updates during progress meetings
• Update documentation in Confluence
• Track tasks and deliverables using Jira

Operational Support

• Track data pipeline performance and raise quality issues when needed
• Work with technical teams to align on data requirements
• Contribute to best practices and data governance efforts
• Assist in validation and testing of data models

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Science
• Proficient in Python, R, and SQL for data analysis
• Familiar with CI/CD concepts and tools like GitLab
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Hands-on experience with AWS Redshift, QuickSight, S3, Glue, and Lambda
• Skilled in developing dashboards and data visualisation and troubleshooting pipelines (Tableau, Snowflake, Power BI, Denodo, Informatica etc.)
• Strong in documentation, data governance, and collaboration
