Job summary

PATHSOURCE CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Senior Data Engineer in Singapore to design, build and operate scalable data pipelines for complex client projects.

The role focuses on data-platform engineering across on-premise or hybrid environments, with emphasis on governance, metadata and lineage. Expect to collaborate directly with client teams as a senior IC and travel to locations as required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on data engineering or platform engineering experience.
• Experience building and operating production-grade pipelines end-to-end.
• Comfort with on-premise or hybrid infrastructure; cloud-only background may not fit.
• Experience with data governance, metadata management, catalogues or lineage.
• Ability to work independently as a senior technical contributor and communicate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate scalable end-to-end data pipelines.
• Develop data-platform components across on-premise or hybrid environments.
• Establish and maintain data governance, metadata, cataloguing and lineage capabilities.
• Monitor pipeline performance and ensure reliability and SLAs.
• Troubleshoot data-quality, integration and platform-performance issues.
• Produce technical documentation and operating procedures.
• Work with client teams to translate project requirements into practical solutions.
• Contribute as a senior individual contributor without people-management remit.
