Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in data governance, data protection, or information management.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
• Certifications in privacy, governance, or cybersecurity are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, review, and enhance enterprise-wide data standards and governance frameworks.
• Design and implement governance mechanisms for data management and sharing.
• Lead assessments of data-related risks with practical governance controls.
• Advise on data protection and privacy requirements for new initiatives.
• Manage and report on data access requests ensuring safeguards are in place.
• Develop training materials to raise staff awareness of data governance.
• Coordinate data governance discussions and act as primary contact for queries.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and refining workflows.
