Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for the Data and AI org, focusing on the Customer Data Platform. You will design scalable data models and data products to support operational needs and analytics, including machine learning-ready data foundations.

You will own or contribute to real-time and batch ETL pipelines, leverage Databricks/DBT and Airflow, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable trusted, reusable data assets across the organization.

Qualifications

• SQL and data warehousing proficiency for BI and ML.
• Spark ETL pipelines across batch and real-time workflows with Databricks/DBT.
• Experience with streaming design for batch and real-time workflows.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and modern data infra tools like Databricks and Airflow.

• SQL Strong proficiency in SQL, database management systems, data warehousing, and data modelling for business intelligence, machine learning, and operational needs. must have
