Job summary

Console Connect by PCCW Global is seeking a highly technical and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will design, build and optimize our data infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and efficient data processing across cloud data warehouses and data lakes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on data engineering, building large-scale data systems.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and orchestration.
• Experience with modern cloud data warehouses/lakehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks).
• Solid experience with workflow orchestration (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster) and data ingestion/transformation tools (dbt, Airbyte, Fivetran).

Responsibilities

• Design, build and optimize data infrastructure for reliable data processing.
• Integrate data from multiple sources ensuring accuracy and consistency in data warehouses or lakes.
• Apply data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT patterns to scalable pipelines.
• Improve data processing efficiency and scalability; deploy open-source data engineering solutions.
• Establish CI/CD, automated testing, and code governance across the team.
• Improve data infrastructure stability, monitoring, quality automation, and lineage tracking.
