Zusammenfassung

IKAS International (Asia) Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and scale enterprise data platforms and pipelines for analytics and AI-enabled applications in Singapore.

You will shape data architecture, translate requirements, and collaborate with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams while mentoring engineers and driving DataOps and quality standards.

Qualifikationen

• 7-8+ years in data engineering, data architecture, or building enterprise data platforms.
• Strong data modelling across OLTP, OLAP, and dimensional modelling.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and services such as AWS, Glue, Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks, or Azure.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java, with SQL and ETL/ELT development.
• Familiarity with data lakes, data warehouses, APIs, streaming, CDC, or message queues.
• Experience with CI/CD, DataOps, data observability, and automated data quality checks.
• Understanding of AI/ML and LLM-based applications or MLOps is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to take ownership of complex technical assignments and work across teams.

• Design data architectures, data models, and scalable data pipelines using ETL/ELT, APIs, and batch or streaming integrations.

• Build and maintain data platforms, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data integration frameworks.

• Develop data products, analytics workflows, and AI-enabled solutions using machine learning and LLM technologies where relevant.

• Optimise pipeline performance, data quality, reliability, and system scalability.

• Implement DataOps practices, automation, monitoring, and CI/CD for data pipelines.
