Job summary

DSTA, Singapore, seeks motivated engineers to join an agile team to implement and manage the data analytics and AI platform transforming business processes through advanced data engineering and AI solutions. The role involves designing scalable data architectures, ETL/ELT pipelines, data virtualization, and ensuring performance, security, and reliability across enterprise analytics and AI workloads.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related discipline.
Experience in data and platform engineering deployment and sustainment.
Familiarity with data integration tools administration.
Strong analytical and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Self-driven and performance oriented with good writing skills.
Knowledge of government IT security policies is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data architectures and pipelines using ETL/ELT and data virtualization.
Optimise data platform performance, scalability, and reliability for analytics and AI workloads.
Analyse data quality and implement data quality frameworks across enterprise systems.
Drive implementation and enhancements to the data analytics and AI platform.
Provide operations and maintenance support including system admin, monitoring, and tuning.
Collaborate with data scientists, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into datasets.
Stay updated on trends in data engineering, cloud technologies, and AI/ML platforms.
