Job summary

KPMG is looking for a cybersecurity and technology risk consultant to help clients strengthen their IT risk management and security posture. You will engage with stakeholders, evaluate existing policies, and assess security maturity against recognized standards.

The role involves delivering strategic recommendations, preparing proposals, and working with senior executives to align technology risk with business goals. A strong emphasis on communication and collaboration across teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in technology, engineering or information systems with interest in technology risk and security.
• Minimum 2 years of consulting experience in IT risk assessment or IT security.
• Good knowledge of cyber services capabilities and industry trends.
• Strong understanding of information security principles, techniques and standards.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CISM, PMP or similar.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Interaction: gather insights via interviews/workshops with clients.
• Policy Evaluation: assess policies, standards and procedures in place.
• Security Assessment: evaluate cyber security maturity and regulatory compliance.
• Strategic Recommendations: design a roadmap to improve security maturity and governance.
• Proposal Support: help develop proposals and presentations for clients.
