Job description
What the role is:

The incumbent will analyse and investigate malwares, advanced persistent threats (APTs), and other cyber threats, contributing to the overall mission of protecting Singapore’s cyberspace and enhancing our nation’s cybersecurity posture.

What you will be working on:
  • Perform in-depth analysis of malwares to understand the behaviour and capabilities of a malware and prepare comprehensive reports on malware analysis findings to present the findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
  • Provide expertise in dissecting malware with crucial insights, immediate and actionable intelligence needed to understand, contain and prevent cyberattacks.
  • Conduct in-depth research with more systematic understanding of evolving malware threats and create high fidelity detection mechanisms to identify emerging threats.
  • Oversee the implementation of new projects and technologies, translating plans into operations through well-defined workflows, automation and robust technical solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for the malware analysis function within the team.
  • Develop and deliver training programmes on advanced malware analysis techniques.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior malware analysts, fostering their growth and skill development.
What we are looking for:
  • Background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience with domain expertise in Malware Analysis
  • Possess Malware Analysis or other relevant cybersecurity certifications is an advantage
