Job summary

Bitdeer, a world-leading Bitcoin mining and AI cloud company based in Singapore, seeks a senior SOC/incident response professional. You will triage security alerts across SIEM/EDR, contribute to AI-driven security governance, and drive rapid incident response through scripting and ML approaches.

You will investigate security events, perform root-cause analyses, and contribute to framework controls for AI security. English and Mandarin fluency is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SOC operations or security incident response experience.
• Degree holder in Cybersecurity, Computer, Engineering or related fields.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin (preferred).
• Experience with MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, Cloud or Identity security tools.

• Improve SOC operations by scripting or leveraging AI/ML to auto-triage alerts, summarize logs, and enable rapid incident response.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Perform the holistic triage of security alerts across SIEM, EDR, Identity, network, and/or cloud platforms.
• Contribute to the framework and best practice controls of security / governance for AI as needed.
• Contribute to Security Operation Center (SOC) continuous improvements by writing the scripts or leveraging AI / Machine Learning to auto-triage security alerts, summarize security logs, and execute rapid incident response.
• Investigate security events including but not limited to phishing, malware, account compromise, unauthorized access, etc and conduct the root cause identification, impact analysis and attack containment.

How You Will Stand Out

• Degree holder in Cybersecurity, Computer, Engineering or related fields.
• Fluency in English and Chinese Mandarin (spoken and written) is preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in script programming or AI / Machine Learning to auto-triage security alerts, summarize security logs, and execute rapid incident response are preferred.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in end-to-end incident investigation or threat hunting.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, Cloud or Identity security tools with good understanding of attack chains, MITRE ATT&CK, and forensic analysis.
• 8 years or more relevant experience in Security Operation Center (SOC) operations and/or security incident response.
