Job summary

Singtel is seeking an experienced cyber security leader to define and drive the enterprise security strategy across governance, operations and delivery for Enterprise Services. You will oversee 24/7 security operations, risk management and customer-facing security programs.

Responsibilities include developing multi-year roadmaps, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with executive stakeholders to strengthen security posture and service quality.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience across cyber security, security operations, managed services, enterprise security governance or ICT service delivery.
• Proven leadership in SOC/ASOC operations, incident response, customer-facing security service delivery and governance/risk/compliance environments.
• Strong strategic thinking, executive stakeholder management and crisis leadership.

• Cyber Security Leadership & Strategy
• Define and execute the Cyber & Enterprise Security strategy aligned to Enterprise Services business priorities, Group Security standards and Singtel’s enterprise customer commitments.
• Develop the multi-year cyber capability roadmap across governance, operations, service delivery, automation, resilience and workforce capability.
• Drive cyber transformation, AI-enabled security operations, standardisation and productivity improvement across the Cyber organisation.
• Represent Enterprise Services in cyber strategy forums, executive governance discussions and major customer or regulatory engagements.
• Enterprise Security Governance, Risk & Compliance
• Lead Enterprise Services security governance, policies, standards, risk management and compliance activities.
• Oversee security audits, control assessments, risk remediation, exception management, and assurance reporting.
• Ensure alignment with contractual, regulatory, industry, and corporate security obligations.
• Strengthen the security maturity of Enterprise Services through continuous improvement, risk-based prioritisation and disciplined governance.
• Advanced Security Operations Centre (ASOC)
• Lead all security monitoring, detection, investigation, escalation and response capabilities across the ASOC function.
• Establish operational excellence standards for SOC operations, threat intelligence, threat hunting, detection engineering and incident response.
• Ensure 24/7 cyber operational readiness, robust escalation procedures and effective crisis coordination for significant security events.
• Drive continuous improvement of detection effectiveness, response performance, tooling, automation and operational resilience.
• Security Service Delivery
• Own the end-to-end delivery and operational performance of customer-facing managed security services across implementation, transition and steady-state support.
• Govern Cyber PM, Cyber PS/MSSE, MSD, MWAF and related security service delivery capabilities to ensure SLA achievement, delivery quality and customer experience.
• Ensure smooth transition from solutioning and project delivery into Day 2 operations through supportability gates, operational acceptance and clear accountability.
• Drive service standardisation, productivity, rightshoring, quality improvement and reduction of repeat escalations.
• Security Assurance for Customer and Business Program
• Provide security oversight and risk guidance for strategic customer opportunities, major programmes and transformation initiatives.
• Partner with Delivery Architecture, Solutioning, Product and Technology teams to ensure security-by-design and operational supportability.
• Review and govern material security risks, architecture exceptions and mitigation plans for high-impact customer engagements.
• Support customer security reviews, audits, recovery planning, regulatory queries and executive assurance discussions.
• Executive Stakeholder and Customer Management
• Act as senior escalation point for significant cyber security, service delivery and customer assurance matters.
• Engage C-level customers, internal executives, vendors, ecosystem partners and governance bodies to strengthen trust and service confidence.
• Provide clear executive reporting on security posture, incident performance, service risks, customer impact and remediation status.
• Collaborate with Group Security, Risk, Audit, Legal, Communications and Technology teams during major incidents and sensitive escalations.
• People Leadership and Capability Building
• Lead and develop cyber leaders and specialists across Enterprise Security, ASOC and Security Service Delivery.
• Build succession plans, certification pathways and future-ready capabilities in SOC operations, cloud security, AI security, cyber resilience, threat intelligence and managed security services.
• Create a high-performance, customer-centric and security-first culture with clear ownership, accountability and professional standards.
• Drive workforce transformation, capability uplift and engagement across geographically distributed cybersecurity teams.

Skills For Success

• Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline. Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience across cyber security, security operations, managed services, enterprise security governance or ICT service delivery. Proven leadership in SOC / ASOC operations, incident response, customer-facing security service delivery and governance/risk/compliance environments.
