Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) is looking for an experienced operations leader with 10–15 years in wholesale and retail lending, credit, treasury, and trade operational processes. You will oversee risk controls, regulatory compliance, and performance improvements across daily credit operations.

You will collaborate with Team Heads to verify covenants, review exceptions, and drive efficiency while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in related discipline.
• At least 10 to 15 years’ experience in wholesale and retail lending, credit, treasury and trade operational processes.
• Equipped with knowledge of lending, credit, treasury and trade financing regulations (MAS notices) and legal guidelines.
• Proven track record in managing a sizeable operation team with exposure to both retail and wholesale credit lending.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the KPI of the Division and work to achieve the KORIs.
• Work with Team Heads to achieve satisfactory audit reviews for daily processes.
• Support new covenant / credit conditions verification processes with Team Heads.
• Meet SLA turnaround times for daily processes.
• Participate in Quality, Efficiency, Productivity (QEP) and Gen AI initiatives.
• Ensure risk and controls processes are complied with.
