Job summary

Vita Partners Real Assets is seeking a Cost Planning Manager to lead cost planning, pricing, and commercial support for life sciences and GMP-focused projects in Asia-Pacific. The role covers developing robust cost plans, tender estimates, and value engineering across multiple project stages.

Applicants should have 8–12 years of post-graduation cost planning experience in large-scale construction, preferably in life sciences, pharmaceutical or GMP environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Membership of a recognised professional body (RICS/AIQS) preferred.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Construction Management or Engineering Economics advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cost planning function for the business.
• Prepare and maintain robust cost plans across project stages.
• Generate accurate tender cost estimates for diverse life sciences projects.
• Benchmark contractor pricing to ensure value for money.
• Advise on procurement strategies and tendering processes.
• Administer works in progress, cash flow forecasts, and cost reports.
• Value monthly progress and cost-to-complete analyses.
• Prepare interim/final statements and closeout documentation.
• Support dispute resolution and claims analysis.
