A local Indian restaurant in Singapore is seeking a Senior Cook to prepare both South and North Indian dishes according to established recipes. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on cooking experience, particularly in bulk cooking, and must be able to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen environment. Responsibilities include assisting with meal preparations, ensuring food quality and safety, and maintaining a clean workspace. The position requires flexibility to work night shifts and weekends.
The Senior Cook must prepare and cook all the south and north Indian food dishes as per our restaurant menu and recipes. Must have hands‑on experience in bulk cooking. Must perform all duties necessary to ensure that a meal is properly prepared and presented within a specified timeframe. Must assist other cooks and chefs to prepare and cook all the food dishes as per restaurant arrangements. Duties include washing, cutting & preparing of ingredients, following food health and safety procedures. Must be willing to do multitasking roles, such as, washing and cleaning of cookingvessels, utensils and kitchen environment. Must be willing to work any shift, night shift hours, Weekends and public holidays. Must have experience in cooking the following dishes:
