At TEMBUSU Asia, we believe environmental stewardship is not just a responsibility it’s a strategic imperative. We are seeking a forward-thinking Environmental Project Manager to lead high-impact consulting engagements across Southeast Asia.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate EBIA studies for infrastructure, industrial, and land development projects across Singapore and Southeast Asia
- Design and implement EMMPs that are robust, site-specific, and aligned with regulatory and stakeholder expectations
- Conduct baseline ecological surveys, habitat assessments, and biodiversity risk evaluations
- Liaise with regulatory authorities (e.g., NEA, NParks, PUB, URA, HDB) to secure approvals and ensure compliance with environmental requirements
- Develop mitigation strategies and monitoring protocols to safeguard sensitive ecosystems and species
- Prepare high-quality technical reports, impact statements, and stakeholder engagement
- Engage with clients, regulators, and community stakeholders to build consensus and facilitate transparent decision-making
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge systems and accreditation efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Ecology, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
- 5–10 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a strong track record in EBIA and EMMP delivery
- Experience with ecological fieldwork, GIS mapping, and environmental modeling tools
- Strong understanding of international standards (e.g., IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles, IUCN Red List)
