As a Senior Consultant / Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high quality work with limited oversight.
  • Leading work-streams or small projects across Asset Management and Banking.
  • Defining practice governance structure and required reports / dashboards.
  • Supporting the delivery of projects, potentially working across several clients in Asia, and, if required, support overseas engagements.
  • Supporting the development of content and pitches for practice-related opportunities and proposals, specifically in the Asset Management segment.
  • Actively contributing to the development of Sia Partners assets and IP including methodology, tools, templates, guidelines and leading initiatives to continuously improve and integrate them with other Sia Partners assets across the Practice.
  • Managing projects as a BA / PM depending on need.
  • Review, manage and implement client plan and governance to be used for the project timeline.
  • Engaging stakeholders across business, legal and compliance.
  • Managing vendors and technology partners to ensure smooth delivery of project.
  • Assisting in marketing campaigns and overall external positioning of Sia Partners and your practice across social networks.
  • Interacting with other industry teams within Sia Partners to share information.
  • Building and maintaining your own external professional peer networks.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years’ Management Consulting experience, including experience from a recognised, top‑tier consulting firm in the financial services industry and with previous asset management project experience; candidates with strong asset management industry experience will be considered as well.
  • Solid understanding of the Asset Management industry, including key processes, risks and challenges.
  • Knowledge of Asset Allocation, Fund Operations and/or Investment Management.
  • Multi‑asset class product knowledge.

Must have good Project Management skills using both Waterfall and Agile Methodology.

Proven experience in one or more of the following: Change management expertise – Strategy, Design, Analysis, Project Management, Build and Testing, Go‑Live.

Understanding of Financial Services products and lifecycle events.

Capital Markets eco‑system and participants. E.g. sell side, buy side, market infrastructure.

Experience in Capital Management, Operations, Middle Office, Operational Risk, Liquidity Management or Asset Allocation.

Drafting policies and procedures including complaints and conduct of business, compliance monitoring plans or regulatory business plans.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
