Job summary

Infosys Singapore & Australia is seeking a Java Developer to join our consultancy team. You will participate in design and requirement analysis, write clean, scalable Java code, and contribute to the Agile/SDLC lifecycle.

You should be comfortable with basic cloud operations and be prepared to test, deploy, and refactor applications as needed. We value practical experience with Java, SQL, and modern design patterns, as well as teamwork in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Java Developer or Application Developer.
• Advanced Java understanding and DB design/architectural patterns (MVC, MVP).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design and requirement analysis.
• Develop documentation throughout the Agile/ SDLC.
• Write clean, scalable code using Java and understand Java design patterns.
• Test and deploy applications and systems, debug and refactor code.
• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.

• Test and deploy applications and systems, Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support, understanding of Agile methodologies!

Requirements and skills

• Java , Database, File I/O, Deployment, DB, SQL, AWS (Basics)
• Proven experience as a Java Developer or Application Developer
• Familiarity with the Advanced Java, DB design/architectural patterns (e.g. MVC, MVP etc.)
• Familiarity with architecture style
