Job summary

SIA PARTNERS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant based in Singapore to lead client engagements at the intersection of AI governance, responsible AI, operating-model transformation and business change.

You will translate AI regulation, risk principles and technology developments into practical governance frameworks, policies and roadmaps while managing risks across ethics, privacy, security, accountability and model performance.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' AI maturity, governance arrangements, policies, risk management processes and control environments.
• Design and implement practical AI governance frameworks, including decision rights, accountability models, policies, standards, risk taxonomies and control libraries.
• Support the development of Responsible AI principles and operational processes covering fairness, transparency, explainability, human oversight, privacy, security, safety and model monitoring.
• Advise clients on interpreting and operationalising relevant AI-related regulations, standards and guidance, including Singapore and regional requirements.
• Develop governance approaches for both traditional machine-learning models and generative AI solutions.
• Support AI use-case risk assessments, model inventories, impact assessments, documentation standards and approval workflows.
• Help define lifecycle controls for AI solutions, from ideation and data sourcing through development, deployment, monitoring, incident management and decommissioning.
• Translate AI strategy into actionable transformation plans, target operating models and implementation roadmaps.
• Analyse business processes and identify opportunities to redesign workflows, operating models and customer or employee experiences enabled by AI.
• Define business cases, value hypotheses, benefits-tracking approaches and prioritised AI portfolios.
• Facilitate workshops with executive and cross-functional stakeholders to align on strategic priorities, risk appetite, governance and adoption requirements.
• Support organisational change management, capability development and communications programmes to enable responsible AI adoption.
• Develop executive-ready presentations, reports, recommendations and decision materials.
• Manage defined workstreams, including scope, workplan, risks, dependencies, quality assurance and client communication.
• Conduct research, interviews, data analysis and benchmarking to generate clear, evidence-based insights.
• Mentor junior team members and provide day-to-day guidance on analytical work and deliverables.
• Contribute to proposals, thought leadership, solution development and business development activities in AI governance and transformation.
• Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary Sia teams across strategy, data, technology and design.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to support and lead client engagements at the intersection of AI governance, responsible AI, operating-model transformation and business change.

Based in Singapore, you will work with public- and private-sector clients to translate emerging AI regulation, risk principles and technology developments into practical governance frameworks, policies, controls and transformation roadmaps. You will help clients realise AI's business value while managing risks relating to ethics, privacy, security, accountability, model performance and regulatory compliance.

This role suits an analytical, client-focused professional who can bridge business stakeholders, risk and compliance teams, data and technology specialists, and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

AI Governance & Responsible AI

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, engineering, computer science, data science, law, economics or a related discipline; a postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
• Typically 2-3 years of relevant experience in management consulting, risk advisory, digital transformation, data/AI strategy, governance, or related fields.
• Demonstrable experience delivering transformation, governance, risk, data or technology advisory projects.
• Familiarity with AI, machine learning and/or generative AI concepts, their business applications and associated risks.
• Understanding of AI governance and Responsible AI topics, such as model risk, data governance, privacy, cybersecurity, bias and fairness, explainability, human oversight and monitoring.
• Awareness of relevant regulatory and standards landscapes, such as Singapore's Model AI Governance Framework, AI Verify, PDPA, ISO/IEC AI standards, NIST AI Risk Management Framework, and emerging international AI regulations.
• Experience working with financial services, public sector, telecommunications, healthcare, consumer, technology or other highly regulated industries is beneficial.
• Strong structured problem-solving, research, quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
