Job summary

Space Executive partners with a Southeast Asia AI startup to build intelligent supply chain solutions. We seek a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to own end-to-end CV systems—from edge devices (Android) to cloud inference.

You will drive AI pipelines for detection, recognition, localization and shelf segmentation, optimize models for Android/GPU and cloud, and implement robust MLOps workflows to monitor drift and streamline deployments.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python, C++, PyTorch or TensorFlow, and OpenCV.
• Hands-on experience optimizing models for edge/Android and cloud deployments.
• Familiar with MLOps tooling (FiftyOne, MLflow, Weights & Biases, TensorBoard, Grafana).

Responsibilities

• Lead design of AI pipelines for product detection, recognition, localization, and shelf segmentation.
• Optimize models for inference on Android/GPU and cloud (TensorRT, ONNX Runtime, CUDA).
• Conduct extensive field testing in live retail/warehouse environments to address edge cases.
• Build production-grade MLOps workflows including model drift tracking and deployment pipelines.

Our client is an AI startup building intelligent supply chain solutions across Southeast Asia — from demand forecasting to inventory optimisation. They're a lean, engineering-first team that moves fast and gives engineers real ownership over the products they build.

The Role

They're looking for a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to own end-to-end CV systems — from edge devices (Android) through to cloud inference.

What You'll Do

• Leading design of AI pipelines for product detection, recognition, localization, and shelf segmentation
• Optimizing models for inference acceleration on Android/edge devices and cloud environments (TensorRT, ONNX Runtime, CUDA)
• Running extensive field testing in live retail/warehouse environments to solve real-world edge cases — lighting, camera angles, motion blur
• Building out production-grade MLOps workflows — model drift tracking, metrics, deployment pipelines

What We're Looking For

• Strong proficiency in Python, C++, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and OpenCV
• Hands-on experience optimizing models for compute-constrained environments (Android GPU/NCNN/TensorRT) and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure, Docker, K8s)
• Experience with dataset analysis & MLOps tooling — FiftyOne, MLflow, Weights & Biases, TensorBoard, Grafana
• Bonus: ROS/ROS2, barcode decoding libraries (Halcon, ZBar), or retail/logistics CV systems
