Job summary

Hydro Marine Solutions Pte. Ltd. is seeking experienced underwater operations personnel to perform inspections, hull cleaning, propeller polishing, and maintenance within Singapore waters.

You will operate and maintain diving equipment, conduct pre-dive checks, and collaborate with the team while adhering to SS511:2018 standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must hold IMCA/SS 511 diving certifications.
• In-date diving medical certificate from a registered practitioner.
• In-date occupational diving first aid and diving first aid certs.
• Proficient in hydraulic brush kart and polishing system usage.
• Strong knowledge of safety and emergency procedures.
• Ability to call stop-work in unsafe conditions.
• Punctual and responsible in performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform inshore underwater operations including inspections, hull cleaning, propeller polishing, maintenance and repairs within Singapore waters.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform inshore underwater operations including inspections, hull cleaning, propeller polishing, maintenance and repairs of vessels within Singapore waters
• Operate and maintain diving equipment, including diving hats, equipment and tools
• Conduct pre-dive checks and ensure proper functioning of diving equipment in accordance with SS511:2018 standards
• Complete tasks efficiently while adhering to project schedules and deadlines
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and maintain effective communication with the team
• Maintain accurate records of dive logs, equipment inspections and maintenance activities
• Monitor and assess underwater conditions, identify potential hazards prior to dive operation commencement
• Follow established safety protocols and procedures in compliance with SS 511 to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment for everyone

Job Requirements:

• Possesses valid and approved diving certification recognized by IMCA and SS 511 standards
• Possesses in-date and approved diving medical certification issued by a registered Diving medical practitioner
• Possesses in-date occupational first aid and diving first aid certification
• Proficient in use of hydraulic brush kart and polishing system
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and emergency procedures
• Be able to call a stop-work order in the event of unsafe working conditions
• Have a good sense of punctuality and responsibility
