Job summary

Responsibilities
  • Lead full spectrum of pre- and post-contract management, including tender review, contract negotiation, variations, and claims.
  • Manage main contract and subcontract agreements to ensure compliance and minimize commercial risks.
  • Review, prepare, and submit monthly progress claims, variation orders, and contractual correspondences.
  • Monitor project budgets, cash flow, cost forecasts, and ensure all financial targets are met.
  • Implement cost-control measures and value engineering recommendations.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams on all commercial matters.
  • Prepare commercial reports and financial updates for senior management.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks across projects.
  • Ensure compliance with BCA, LTA, MOM, and internal company policies.
  • Support audits, insurance matters, and dispute resolution when required.
Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in Commercial / Contract Management within construction or M&E (ACMV/FPS experience is an advantage).
  • Strong knowledge of PSSCOC, SIA, FIDIC, LTA contract forms.
  • Proven experience in cost control, claims preparation, and project financial management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office and project management/ERP systems.
