Job summary

OpenTalent in Singapore is seeking an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure. You will manage AWS-based platforms, implement IaC with Terraform or OpenTofu, and build robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

You will also manage containerised applications with Docker and collaborate on ECS/Kubernetes environments. The role requires 5+ years in DevOps/Platform Engineering, strong troubleshooting, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform/Cloud Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Experience with Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience with Docker and containerisation.
• Experience with ECS and/or Kubernetes/EKS.
• GCC experience is an advantage.
• Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Manage Docker-based applications and containers.
• Support Amazon ECS and/or Kubernetes/EKS environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain cloud platforms.
• Automate deployment and infrastructure processes.
• Work with development and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
