Job summary

Singtel in Singapore seeks a Senior Engineer, Cloud & Container Infrastructure responsible for designing, engineering, and operating the on-prem private cloud with emphasis on OpenShift Virtualization and containerization, plus VMware/Nutanix/Hyper-V as supported platforms.

You will design and maintain OpenShift virtualization and container infrastructure across datacenters, drive improvements, ensure security, capacity planning, and collaborate across teams to implement changes and new builds.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
10+ years of testing experience in Agile environments.
Strong coding and test automation experience.
Experience with Java Spring Boot and test automation.
Experience building automation testing frameworks for self-service platforms.
Cloud and k8s experience in AWS/Azure.
Chaos Engineering / Litmus Chaos (optional).
Experience with CastleMock and QMetry.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and maintain OpenShift virtualization and container infrastructure.
Drive process, quality, productivity and security improvements.
Collaborate with other technology groups to resolve production and security issues.
Capacity planning for compute infra, licensing and vendor support.
Work with Change Management for patching and migrations.
Implement new builds and automate operations.
Ensure compliance with security standards and enterprise architecture.
Document infrastructure strategies and standards.
Provide guidance during planning to include non-functional requirements.
Ensure engineering, planning and operational standards are met.
Create and document solutions using Infrastructure Standard Platforms.
Assist ongoing automation of operations.
