Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognised by PE board.
• Accreditation under JAC of IES/ACES for Resident Engineers (preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as civil/structural engineer, including at least 6 years supervising major building or infrastructure works.
• Proven ability to lead site teams, manage conflicts, and communicate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead supervision teams to monitor, supervise, and inspect construction works in line with Client/QP(s)/QP(Geo) guidance.
• Plan and coordinate shift rosters for supervision personnel.
• Collaborate to resolve design and technical issues related to Temporary and Permanent Works construction.
• Oversee day-to-day construction activities for compliance with design, specs and safety.
• Inspect works, materials and workmanship to verify adherence to drawings and requirements.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants and client representatives to resolve site issues promptly.
• Track milestones, verify progress claims, and report delays or deviations to stakeholders.
• Enforce workplace safety and environmental regulations and ensure statutory compliance.
• Maintain site records, issue instructions, prepare supervision reports and support contract admin.
