Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore seeks a Civil Engineer to coordinate with teams for design development and prepare structural reports. Candidates should have a Bachelor's/Master's in Civil Engineering and at least 5 years of experience, preferably with LTA projects. Strong analytical skills and knowledge of design software are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Civil and Structural Engineering, especially for LTA Project.
• Candidates with experience as a CS engineer (Design) in D&B contractor will be prioritized.
• Good knowledge of Eurocode and relevant design specifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with construction and design teams for detail design development.
• Prepare design calculation reports and structural drawings for submissions.
• Review and plan ERSS system for underground structures.

Job description

Roles & responsibilities

• Coordination with Construction team/ Design Consultant/PE/construction subcontractor, etc. for Detail Design Development.
• Carry out detailed analysis and design of civil, structural, and geotechnical works.
• Prepare design calculation reports and structural drawings for authorities' submissions.
• Planning relevant temporary civil structure, plan & section required for the Traffic diversion, such as Drain diversion, Retaining wall, shop drawing development.
• Review and planning for ERSS system for Underground structure using Diaphragm wall such as KP, Decking, Strutting, decking, etc.
• Check/Rectification of all the structural drawing/ shop drawing if required.

Requirements and relevant experience are as below:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree of Civil Engineering or close discipline from a recognized Institution.
• Strong engineering fundamental and analytical skills in geotechnical and structural analysis and design works is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of the application of design and drafting software.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Civil and Structural Engineering especially for LTA Project.
• Be well-aware of Traffic Diversion, Temp. Drain Diversion, and authority approval procedure.
• Be well-aware of Underground Structure/Construction Sequences and related civil design works.
• Be well-aware of Eurocode, LTA CDC, and relevant design specification/standards.
• Candidates who has experience as CS engineer (Design) in D&B contractor side would be an advantage.
