Job summary

A local engineering consultancy in Singapore seeks a professional to assist the Director in monitoring project standards and executing complex structural designs. You will perform analyses with Finite Element Analysis software, conduct value engineering, and assist in preparing presentations. This role involves project development from conception to completion and reporting on technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director in monitoring professional standards of project work.
• Execute Complex Structures design and authority submissions.
• Perform analyses using Finite Element Analysis software.
• Conduct Value Engineering on structural schemes.
• Assist in the preparation of presentation slides.
• Review project problems and initiate preventive actions.
• Report design and technical issues to Director/Associate.
• Develop and monitor projects from conception to completion.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To assist Director in monitoring and controlling of level of professional standard of work carried out by the project teams.
• To carry out Complex Structures design and submissions to the authorities.
• To carry out analyses using Finite Element Analysis software and trouble-shoot any error found.
• To perform Value Engineering on structural schemes and solutions.
• To assist Directors with the preparation of presentation slides.
• To review problems arising during the course of each project and to initiate non-conformance preventive and corrective actions.
• To report to the Director/ Associate on all matters regarding design and technical issues.
• To develop and monitor Project from conception to completion.
