Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering from a university recognised by the Professional Engineer Board, Singapore, or an equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of design experience in Infrastructure and Building projects within a consulting environment.
• Strong engineering analysis and design skills and knowledge.
• Competent in common engineering design software and analytical tools.
• Proficiency or experience in programming skills will be an advantage.
• Conversant with relevant regulations and the latest authority submission process.
• Competent in precast concrete design and steel works design.
• Conversant with local codes and knowledge of the design codes in the region.
• Capable of working independently, carrying out design, performing peer review, or value engineering on structural solutions.
• Capable of leading the C&S design and submission process in a project.
• Good planning, organizational, report writing, and communication skills.
• Proactive, responsible, and keen to work in a team.
• Keen to learn and take the project leadership role.
• Eager to upskill and participate in all aspects of the project delivery process.

Job Description

• Lead and perform Civil / Structural engineering analysis and design.
• Perform design, provide technical input and ensure work quality is maintained at the expected standard in a project.
• Participate in BIM coordination with the assistance of the BIM team.
• Prepare technical specifications and manage projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies, engineering assessments, and prepare technical reports.
• Carry out site inspections and technical reviews, when necessary.
• Design management and participation in the successful delivery of projects.
• Attend meetings and manage report and design matters.
• Liaise with fellow Engineers and / or Consultant team.
