Responsibilities and requirements:
- Assist in the daily operations and work towards the achieve of targeted budgets.
- Keep current of market trends and assist to plan menu accordingly.
- Perform duties in compliance with the established policies and procedures, and job description.
- Implement and conduct relevant training for team members.
- Maintain effective communications between management and all team members.
- Maintain a high standards of skills to preparation and presentation, and closely monitor portion conformity and ingredients specifications.
- Ensure cleaning schedule is adhered to.
- Take responsibility for the adherence and compliance of all health, safety and food hygiene legislation.
- At least 6 years of proven experience with Japanese cuisine in a related capacity.
- Planning individualized and unique multi-course Japanese menu.
- Has excellent sense of taste and creativity in food presentation.
- Strong leadership skills to lead, manage and motivate staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
